It's A Sale-A-Bration!

Yes I am very much singing the Kool & the Gang song after titling my post! Welcome to the March edition of Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration's blog hop. This month we are featuring Sale-A-Bration items. You only have a couple weeks left to collect your favorites!

You are on stop #9 of the blog hop. You most likely arrived here from Kim's blog ~ Stampin' with Kim. As you hop along, please leave some love for each of our designers, as it brings us joy to know what you are enjoying. If you lose your place in the hop, there is a list of all participants at the bottom of this post.

I have so many favorites from the SAB catalog this year! My card features two of them: So Very Much and 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.

This next photo features my card next to the Sale-A-Bration item I was most excited about when we saw them last November at On Stage.

Isn't the Card Tin fabulous? I got a few because they will make great gifts and they hold a lot of cards!

Thank you so much for Sale-A-Brating with me today! Next up is Pam of Stinky Tofu!

Hopping with Love

The month of love. Like so many other instances currently (ahem) people are usually divided on Valentine's Day. They either love the holiday or hate it. No matter your opinion on the holiday, the designer's as Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration hope that you know that we love all of our readers. So today we are sharing the love with our February Blog Hop theme of "Love Is In the Air."

You should have just left stop #5 ~Pamela at Stinky Tofu. If so, you are in the right place! If you get off track, or a link happens to not work, you'll find a full lineup at the bottom of this post.

I mentioned love earlier. We LOVE to hear from our readers. Please share the love and leave a comment for each designer of what you loved about their post or project.

I love the Paper Pumpkin kits that Stampin' Up! offers. A monthly surprise, it's like Christmas comes 13 times a year! Plus they are always spot on for the time of year. The January kit provided enough supplies to make 24 of the treat bags featured here.

They are super cute, and I'm so excited that there is enough for everyone in my office, plus my book club that meets this weekend! Quick, easy and done! (Plus who doesn't LOVE handmade AND chocolate?!?!)

In addition, the "I adore you," "For an amazing friend," and "just a little thanks" stamps from the included set can be used year round! For that matter, the "Love" would be great for anniversary or wedding cards.

Speaking of cards, this kit could have been broken down and made in to cards instead. I didn't because I need all of the treat bags for my groups. Guess I should go see if there are refills of the kit available for purchase!

Thanks for stopping by today! I LOVE that you are here! Now, head on over to see Melissa, the Stamp Doc by clicking that "next" button below!

A Birthday Blog Hop

This month on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop we are celebrating everyone by creating birthday cards for everyone. As you hop along you'll find cards for kids, men, women, and some that can be used for any of the three.

You have probably arrived here from Pamela's blog ~ Stinky Tofu; stop #4 on the SSINK Blog Hop. As you hop along, please leave some love for each designer so they know you were there. If you get off track, or a link doesn't work, you'll find a full listing of the hop participants at the bottom of the post.

My card could be given to anyone for their birthday. It features a few products from the 2017 Occasions catalog.

*Cardstock ~ Real Red, Whisper White

*Paper ~ Silver Glimmer

*Stamp set ~ Love Sparkles
*Edgelits dies ~ Star Blast

Even though Love Sparkles and the Star Blast Edgelits weren't necessarily intended to be used together, I love how well they coordinate.

2017 Occasions Catalog Countdown: Falling In Love

Today is the last day of our countdown because the 2017 Occasions Catalog is now live! The Falling In Love Suite is going to be very popular for gorgeous cards and lots of wedding cards!

I used the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper and Lace Doilies from the product suite. I also used the Love Sparkles stamp set from the Occasions catalog that I received free from On Stage in November.

Stop by SSINKspiration for more samples of the Falling In Love product suite.

Quick & Easy

Today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration we are focusing on quick and easy cards because sometimes you don't have a lot of time to sit down and plan and make your card.

I love Project Life cards for making quick and easy cards. The PL card and stamp both came from the Hello Lovely card collection and accessory pack.

Thanks for stopping in for the quick and easy INKspiration. Remember to stop over at SSINK for more quick and easy ideas.

2017 Occasions Catalog Countdown: Urban Underground

Tomorrow is the day that the 2017 Occasions Catalog goes live! How excited are you? That means we're on our next to last day of the countdown. Today we are featuring the Urban Underground Suite.

I love this suite because our school colors are black and gold, so I was instantly drawn to it as soon as I saw it! I used two patterns from the Urban Underground Speciality Designer Series Paper. The darker piece I embossed with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I added a star from the Urban Underground Embellishments

The stamp is from the Tin of Cards set and then I used the Stitched Shapes framelits.

Head over to Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration to see other ideas for the Urban Underground product suite. See you tomorrow for our final day of countdown!

2017 Occasions Catalog Countdown: Succulent Garden

As a plant lover, the Succulent Garden Suite in the 2017 Occasions Catalog is one of my favorites. I also love all of the colors that it includes, and there's gingham paper *swoon*.

We are only two days away from these products being available for order! Are you excited?

See that yummy Sweet Sugarplum gingham paper? Both prints are from the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper. You can also catch a glimpse of the Sweet Sugarplum Succulent Garden 3/8' Ribbon Combo Pack. It also comes with a spool of Whisper White, and these ribbons are so soft and fluffy.

I also used the Oh So Succulent stamp set and Succulent Framelit Dies. The framelits are a must so you don't have to fussy cut around all those plants! The greeting is from another stamp set in the Occasions catalog, Window Shopping.

You can find more Succulent Garden sneak peaks at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration today. Come back tomorrow when we'll feature my other favorite product suite from this catalog: Urban Underground.

#SSINKCC41 Color Challenge

I've been playing so much with new products lately, that for today's color challenge, I decided to focus on current products from the Annual Catalog that I haven't used in awhile.

The stamp set is Pretty Kitty. I colored the image with Blender Pens and the ink colors from the color challenge. The patterned paper is from the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.

Head over to Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration to see the other color challenge projects today, and then submit your own! Also, check back in a few hours for another Occasions sneak peek.

2017 Occasions Catalog Countdown: Sending Love

The 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog is by far by favorite catalog in quite some time. All of the products are fabulous!

The Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration countdown continues today with the Sending Love Suite. As you can imagine, it is primarily geared towards valentine's day, however there are SOOOO many more uses for it!

This thank you card features the Sending Love Designer Series Paper. Had I not told you, would you have thought it was valentine themed paper?

Other products used that are not in the Occasions catalog are the Stitched Shaped framelits, Thankful Thoughts stamp set, and Polka Dot embossing folder.

Head over to Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration to find other sneak peeks and ideas for the Sending Love Suite. Come back tomorrow to see my favorite product suite: Succulent Garden!

2017 Occasions Catalog Countdown: Party Animal

The 2017 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up! goes live on January 4th. As a demonstrator, I was able to preorder several products from the new catalog and have already been having fun playing with them!

Today the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Design team is starting our countdown to the new catalog by featuring a different suite of products each day. Today our feature is Party Animal.

My card features the Party Animal Designer Series Paper, which is the Crushed Curry background with the candles on it. I also used the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits dies, which will make a pop-up for inside your card, or you can trim it down for the front like I did. I used the Balloon Adventures stamp set to stamp the balloons and greeting. I also added a few Crushed Curry enamel dots from the Regals collection, which is in the current Annual Catalog.

Visit the SSINKspiration blog to see a variety of other uses for this suite! Stop back in tomorrow for a sneak peek at the Sending Love Suite!

Brr...It's Cold

My husband and I went for a walk last night after work. At 18 degrees by the time we got back home, I'd say it was more than a little cold!!! Thankfully you can stay warm and toasty and enjoy the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop inside!

You probably arrived here from stop #1 ~ Pamela's Stinky Tofu blog. If you're just starting here, that's fine too! If you lose your spot on the hop, or a link doesn't work; you'll find a complete hop list at the bottom of this post. We love to hear from our followers, so please leave each designer some love as you hop around.

Since winter has decided to come on big and bad in Kansas the last couple weeks (that wind!), I decided to feature the cute snowmen from Snow Place. I stamped them in Night of Navy Classic Ink on Pool Party card stock. The Let It Snow greeting is from the same set, and also stamped in Night of Navy. The snowflakes from Snow Place were stamped in Pool Party ink for a tone-on-tone effect.

I created a border around the Pool Party layer by gluing the Silver 1/8" Ribbon around the edges using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I mounted this layer on a Night of Navy base.

Finally I used the Wink of Stella pen to sparkle up the snowmen and the greeting.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope you enjoyed my fun snowmen! Keep your fingers crossed that the snow stays away until after graduation on Saturday!

Next up on our hop is Tobe from The Craft Sea. You can find her by clicking the Next button below! Remember to let each of our designers know you were on their page by leaving a comment at the bottom of each post!

Time to CASE!

Hello! Join us to take a break from celebrating that the election cycle is over, and enjoy some fun items made by our design team. Have you heard of CASE? It stands for Copy And Share Everything and is highly encouraged in the Stampin' Up! world. Today our theme is to CASE another member of the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration design team.

As you hop along, please leave some love for each of the designers. We love to hear from our followers, and are anxious to hear what you love! You should have just left stop #3 - Nichole at Scrappy Stamps and Ink. If so, you are in the right place. If you get off track or a link doesn't work, you will find the full Blog Hop list at the bottom of this post. Let's get to the main event!

I CASE'd a card that Tobe from The Craft Sea shared in September for a Thank You card challenge. I made my own DSP background with the Paisleys and Posies stamp set. I stamped the images in VersaMark on Whisper White card stock and then heat embossed with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. I used the Sponge Brayers to ink over them with Island Indigo ink and Rich Razzleberry ink.

There's actually a gap between the two pieces, which I decided to cover with two pieces of Silver 1/8" Ribbon. Do you recognize that greeting? Unless you are a demonstrator, you probably won't, as it's from a new set that is being released in January! Sneak Peek!!!

I'm so happy that you stopped in today! Leave a comment below so I know that you were here, and then let's head over to see what fabulous creation Jenny G has for us! Click the Next button below.

Happy Halloween!

Spooky greetings! The September Paper Pumpkin kit was perfect for allowing me to put together Halloween treats for all my coworkers in a short amount of time. It took longer to sort the M&Ms than it did to assemble the kit!

There are 15 of us in the office and there were 16 treat tubes in this kit, so it worked out perfectly! I wonder who will deserve a special treat tomorrow?

Are you signed up for Paper Pumpkin? If not, you are missing out on some fabulous projects that are a snap to put together! Sign up today!

After you're done signing up for Paper Pumpkin, check out the fun (and in some cases downright creepy) Halloween projects our SSINK designers shared today!

It's a Mystery

Hello! Welcome to another installment of the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog hop. This month everything is a mystery!

You are currently at stop #1. You may be starting here, or you may have come here from Cheryl's blog. If you get off track, or a link doesn't work, there is a complete hop list at the bottom of each post. We hope you enjoy!

So you may be wondering what I meant when I said it was a mystery. Each of us sent items to each other that we were required to use on our project for this month. This is what Cheryl sent me.

And this is what I created with these supplies.

Since Cheryl had already used a thinlit to "decorate" the tree, I used the Metallic Thread that she sent along to thread through the holes for a garland effect. I added a Metallic Gold Star to the top the tree.

Mint Macaroon and Cherry Cobbler were two of the colors featured in the piece of Designer Series Paper that Cheryl sent me. This is how I chose the colors of card stock and ink to use. Through this, I discovered that I LOVE Cherry Cobbler stamped on Mint Macaroon!

I love the products that Cheryl sent, especially since I personally only own one of the three products myself. It was great to get to play with new items! Thanks, Cheryl, for the INKspiration and great products!

I sent my three items to Diana. She said that my items were quite a challenge, but I knew she was up for it! Let's head over to her blog with the Next button and see what she came up with!

My Favorite Holiday Bundle

There are so many great bundles in the Holiday Catalog! Did you know that you can save 10% when you purchase one of the bundle versus buying the items separately? While the Cookie Cutter bundle that I used in my last post is darling, the bundle I used today is my absolute favorite.

It's called Festive Season Photopolymer Bundle, and you can purchase it for only $42.25! The thinlits actually punch holes around your image, so you can use thread or twine to sew! This set combines two of my favorite things: paper crafting and needlepoint!

Here is a close up of the star with that yummy copper embossing powder, as well as the Metallic Thread Combo pack.

You can watch the Facebook Live video (called Labor Day Fun) I created for some more close ups.

Products used:

  • Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock
  • Warmth & Cheer Designer Washi Tape
  • 1/2" Circle Punch
  • Star Collection Framelits
  • Festive Season Photopolymer Bundle
  • Versamark Ink
  • Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder
  • Metallic Thread Combo Pack
  • Merry Medley Clear Mount Stamp
  • Garden Green Ink
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Simply Scored
Check out Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration for more favorite bundles from the Holiday Catalog!

#SSINKCC37: A Color Challenge

Hello! Today the ladies at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration have a fun color challenge that can support fall or Christmas themes. I chose to go with Christmas, and used some fun new products from the 2016 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

When I saw Cookie Cutter Christmas in the new holiday catalog, I just HAD to have it! The great thing is that it also has a coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. The best news? You can purchase them as a bundle and save 10%!

I wanted to do a Christmas card with the Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, and Garden Green color combo. The bears are just too cute, but since I was using the punch, I had to improvise on the ears. I used the bow from the punch to create the ears.

Click on over to SSINKspiration to be INKspired further with this great color combo!

It's Easy As ABC, 123

Welcome to our monthly Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop! Our theme today is ABC 123. Our Roll Call question on our Facebook page this week is about Back To School, so it all seems appropriate for August!

We're so excited to have you hop with us today! If you're hopping in order, you should have just left stop #5 - Cheryl at Create with Cheryl. If you get off course, or a link doesn't work, the entire hop list is at the bottom of this post. Please leave our designers some love when you visit them. We love to hear from our readers!

So what exactly does ABC 123 mean as a theme? (You were asking yourself that, right?) We were challenged to create an Album page, Box, or Card that used 1 stamp set, 2 designer series papers (either 2 stacks or 2 designs from the same stack), and 3 embellishments.

As you can see, I opted for a card. My base is Tangerine Tango. My 1 stamp set was Thoughtful Banners, which you can save 15% on when you purchase it bundled with the coordinating Duet Banner Punch. My 2 DSP were A Little Foxy (which I used the reverse side of the same print for my smaller balloon), and Serene Scenery (which is my favorite DSP of all time!). The balloons were cut out with the Balloon Bouquet punch. My three embellishments were Brights Enamel Shapes, Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine, and Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape.

Thank you so much for stopping in and seeing my ABC 123 project! If you started at the beginning of the hop, you have reached the end. If you started in the middle, or would like to hop through again, you can use that Next button to head to Diana's blog!

    Make It Quick!

Earlier this month a family friend had a major surgery that left her in lots of pain. Her daughter put out a request for well wishes, and I wanted to get a card made quick so I could get it in the mail asap. In steps a quick and easy card!

I knew that I wanted to use the greetings from Here For You, but I didn't feel that flowers and butterflies were the appropriate background for the sayings I wanted to use. A "sun" from Kinda Eclectic was just the ticket to add what I needed to this card! The color inspiration came from the Moroccan Designer Washi Tape.

My favorite part of this card is the inside because knowing her family as I do, I'm sure they'll get a giggle out of it just as I did!

Need more INKspiration for quick and easy cards? Check out what the designers at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration have in store today!
