All About the Love

Have you heard of My Paper Pumpkin? It's a great monthly subscription service that Stampin' Up! offers with a new surprise kit each time! The January kit was Filled With Love and came with 24 cello bags, toppers, hearts, banner tags, gold clips and special baker's twine. Since I really don't have 24 people to give treats to, I used part of it to make a card!

Here's the treat bag that I made:

Did I mention that My Paper Pumpkin also comes with stamps each month? Everything you see in this picture came in the kit, except the candy hearts.

Da da dum. And now for the card.

The twine, clip, tag, and heart and the Love stamp were all in the Filled With Love kit, along with a Real Red ink spot. This card also features a Bermuda Bay card base, Melon Mambo embossed with the Happy Heart folder, and the Bermuda Bay sequin trim.

There's more love for you at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration today!

Love Is In the Air

http://ssinkspiration.blogspot.com/2014/02/feel-love-use-heart.html

Happy Valentine's Day! We don't get too mushy around our house, even on the 14th. Ever since that first year when the flowers died within two days, and the chocolates sat on top of the fridge and he finally ate them a month later; I don't get flowers and candy. The last two years he has surprised me with a handmade card...which he stole my supplies to make them! I thought this year I would return the favor.

Pink and grey is one of my favorite Valentine's color combinations. In this case I used Basic Grey and Blushing Bride. The hearts all came from the Hearts Collection framelits. The greeting is from Happy Watercolor. I'll still be asleep when he leaves for work, so I'm hoping he realizes it was made for him!

This card was a bonus score for me! Ever since celebrating my 10th Stampin' Up! anniversary last month, I've been trying to create a card that uses 10 items. I have finally succeeded!

Supplies used:
  -Cardstock: Basic Grey, Blushing Bride
  -Ink: Basic Grey
  -Stamp set: Happy Watercolor
  -Framelits: Hearts Collection
-Tools: Paper Trimmer, Big Shot, Simply Scored, Bone Folder
  -Adhesive: SNAIL

Favorite DSP & a Challenge

At Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration our Design Team projects for today were to feature our favorite Designer Series Paper Pack. I realized as I was looking through my stash of DSP that I own almost every current pack; and that I really love all of them!
Today however, I was most drawn to the Modern Medley assortment. The entire package is black and vanilla, which is just as timeless as black and white.

Modern Medley #126926

My layout was inspired by Jen's sketch challenge #DS133 at deconstructing*jen.

These are the Valentine's treats I made for everyone in my office. The M&Ms for the student employees & the pens for the full timers since most of us are on a diet. So quick & easy!

February's Stylin' Stampin' Blog Hop

Welcome! I'm so excited to be participating in my first Blog Hop! Plus very blessed to join some of my Stampin' Up! sisters on the Hop!
My first project is a Valentine's card featuring some great new products from the Occasions Mini catalog, and of course, some Sale-A-Bration items. I fell in love with the Cherry Cobbler/Pool Party combination I used for some of my Christmas cards, and it's carrying over into Valentine's for me!

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Pool Party (SAB), Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp set: Outlined Occasions (SAB)
Punches: Ticket corner and 2 1/2" Circle
Accessories: Pool Party Baker's Twine, Big Shot, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits
Adhesive: Tombow, Glue dots, Stampin' dimensions

When I was brainstorming for a good 3-D Valentine's project, I kept thinking about the paper mailboxes we made in grade school to get all of our Valentine's in. This little mailbox was super simple and so much fun to make! (Wonder if it will give my hubby the hint that I'd like a Valentine???)
Supplies used:
Designer Series Paper: Everyday Enchantment (SAB)
Cardstock: Lucky Limeade (SAB), Naturals White
Accessories: Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack (SAB), Crop-A-Dial, Big Shot, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits, Timeless Type Alphabet Sizzlets
Adhesive: Tombow, Glue dots

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've enjoying seeing my latest project adventures as much as I enjoyed making them! Head on over to Pam's blog and enjoy the rest of the Stylin' Stampin' Blog Hop!
