Wedding Card & Gift

My wedding card and matching gift box feature new colors and the Envelope Punch Board.

I hope that I have a wedding to go to soon that has this color scheme because it's so pretty, and then I have my card and gift already made!

The card features Blackberry Bliss, Champagne Glimmer Paper (it's on sale today!) and the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. The "Mr. & Mrs." is from Label Love and then punched out with the coordinating Artisan Label punch.

I've been giving a lot of gift cards lately, and thought it would be more fun to give it in a gift box than just in the card. To make the gift box I took a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut to 5"x7" and scored it at 1-1/2" on each side. Next, I used another piece of the Moonlight DSP cut to 4"x6" and scored it at 1" on all sides. Grabbing the Envelope Punch Board, I punched each corner at 1", flipped the paper over and repeated the process. Next I cut along the short score lines on two sides of the box and lid places to make flaps. I put some Fast Fuse on the flaps and folded and glued together.
The lid will slid over the box if you hold your tongue just right and maneuver the cardstock just right.

This box will hold a gift card!

The inspiration for the box came from the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog. On page 15, you will find many different ideas for dressing up your packaging. I tied the ribbon around the box with a bow. Then I made a separate "free-standing" bow and glued it on top of the first bow with a glue dot.

Customer Thank You Notes

Have I maybe mentioned once or twice that I am enthralled with the new 2014-2016 In Colors? Well, if you haven't picked up that; I'm telling you now! I'm obsessed.

Now, for the first time ever, I'm featuring all five of the new colors on my blog!

I sat down and mass produced a load of these little 3x3 note cards to write a little note of thanks and offer a special gift to each customer who ordered from me during the last catalog sales period. These customers will find one of these tucked inside their very own copy of the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog!

If you ordered from me, you're already scheduled to receive this very soon. If you did not order from me during the last year, but would like your own copy of the new catalog, send me your address and one will be on its way to you!

Father's Day

We are sharing Father's Day cards with you today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration so that you have plenty of time to get inspired to make your own Father's Day cards and gifts.

I had used the Hardwood stamp on my dad's birthday card, so I didn't want to use it again. Since the new Stampin' Up! catalog just went live yesterday; I didn't have any new Designer Series Paper to play with. Therefore, I was kind of stuck for what to use as a background. So I turned to an unlikely source: my box of Project Life cards. I found one of the larger cards that would be perfect. Since the larger cards are 4" x 6", I just had to trim it down a little bit.

I used the new Metro Type Alphabet set and my Stamp-a-majig for the D-A-D. I thought the greeting from Starburst Sayings cut with the Starburst framelits would make a good ribbon, so I cut two pennants out of Crushed Curry with the Banner framelits. Isn't that Lost Lagoon a yummy color? It is one of the 2014-2016 In Colors. Let me just say, that pictures of these new colors, do not do them justice; you really need to see them in person!

Endless Birthday Fun!

I know I should be playing more with the retiring items, since they aren't going to be around much longer. However, I'm just too excited about the new stuff that Stampin' Up is releasing that I've got to play with the new!

I know I keep teasing you with the new products that are being released June 2nd. Guess what? The stamp set that I used today can be purchased NOW! It's a brand new photopolymer set they released last week; and yes, I ordered it the day it came out!

Adorable, right? I fell in love with the fonts even more as I was stamping with it.

The cakes were stamped with the new Momento Ink pad that I recommend you use with the Blendabilities. The cake stands were colored with the Basic Grey marker; while the cakes were colored with all three shades of the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities. I added a little Dazzling Details to the candles to make them shine.

The words were all stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink. The card base is one of the new 2014-2016 In Colors called Tangelo Twist. The circle is the new Hello Honey cardstock. The layer behind the focal point is my "old" favorite, Coastal Cabana.

If you look really close, you might notice that the Dazzling Details is still wet in this picture. I was humming along, happy with what I was making, that I didn't think about drying time. Then I was stuck with, "how am I going to assemble this?" I built my card from the bottom up! It's just as possible to put the SNAIL on the bottom layer and place the top down on it, as it is to adhesive up the back of the top layer! (Yes, I did just take creative license to use adhesive as a verb!)

I highly recommend purchasing Endless Birthday Wishes as soon as possible if you love it. These monthly photopolymer sets that are released are only while supplies last. This set is very similar to Endless Wishes that was released last fall; and it sold out very quickly. I anticipate this one will as well.

More New Products!

What is THE most fabulous thing about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator? Well there are many, but this time of year it is getting to play with brand new products before they are released to the general public. *insert big goofy, inky grin here*

How many new products do you spy on here? Here's a hint: the only currently available products are the Whisper White cardstock and the Another Thank You stamp set. I learned after I finished making the card, that Another Thank You is currently sold out, but never fear; it will be available again with the release of the new catalog!

The flower is a new single stamp called Blended Bloom. The card base, DSP and ribbon all feature some brand new 2014-2016 In Colors! (Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, and Hello Honey) The DSP is from a new stack called Moonlight. Let me tell you, every pattern is YUMMY.

*drum roll* The flower is colored with the brand spankin new Blendabilities markers! I'll write a post later detailing how they work, but let me tell you that once you try them; you will buy them in ever available color. (which I might have already done!)

Thanks for stopping in to check out these new products in action! See ya tomorrow for the monthly blog hop, which may just be featuring punches!
