We are featuring Christmas in July today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration. Since it's still a few weeks too early to get my hands on the Holiday Catalog preorder items, I decided to do some Christmas punch art.
Introducing my Joyful Chevron Trees. The card base is Cherry Cobbler with an Early Espresso layer. I punched the chevrons out of Always Artichoke card stock. The tree truck is the smaller of the two tickets from the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.
The Joy is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla cardstock using the Metro Type Alphabet. My final addition to the card was to color the Vintage Faceted Buttons with the Medium Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities.
It's only 154 days until Christmas. Are you ready?
A glimpse into my stamping home where I will share with you projects and fun techniques using my favorite Stampin' Up! products.

New Stampin' Up! Favorites
Today is a monumental day, as it is our last Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop. Never fear, we'll still have daily inspiration for you with the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Design Team. Of course, we have to share our new catalog favorites with you today, since the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog has now been live for 10 days!
As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number 11 on the Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop -Heidi B. of Stuck On Stampin. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.
My favorite for this card is the Metro Type Alphabet set. All of our alphabet sets are now photopolymer sets, which is great. It makes them easy to position and use to create words on one block. I used the largest Clear Block and mounted letters A-T on it to create this fun background.
This card would make a great end of year card for a teacher, or student. It also features the new Work of Art set and the new Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine.

Father's Day
We are sharing Father's Day cards with you today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration so that you have plenty of time to get inspired to make your own Father's Day cards and gifts.
I had used the Hardwood stamp on my dad's birthday card, so I didn't want to use it again. Since the new Stampin' Up! catalog just went live yesterday; I didn't have any new Designer Series Paper to play with. Therefore, I was kind of stuck for what to use as a background. So I turned to an unlikely source: my box of Project Life cards. I found one of the larger cards that would be perfect. Since the larger cards are 4" x 6", I just had to trim it down a little bit.
I used the new Metro Type Alphabet set and my Stamp-a-majig for the D-A-D. I thought the greeting from Starburst Sayings cut with the Starburst framelits would make a good ribbon, so I cut two pennants out of Crushed Curry with the Banner framelits. Isn't that Lost Lagoon a yummy color? It is one of the 2014-2016 In Colors. Let me just say, that pictures of these new colors, do not do them justice; you really need to see them in person!
