Hello! Bree provided us with a fun sketch for this month's challenge at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.
I took a little creative liberty with the challenge, because I didn't want my flowers to overshadow my greeting.
This was the first time that I inked up Crazy About You, which I stamped the flower in Daffodil Delight classic ink on Daffodil Delight card stock. I then used the coordinating Flower Medallion punch to cut it out. I was going to add some vellum butterflies, but I liked the simplicity of just a single flower image. I did feel like it needed an extra pop so I added the Perfect Plum Regals Candy Dot.
The base is Watermelon Wonder. I really didn't like this color when it was released, but it has really grown on me. The green patterned layer, as well as the banner that I stamped the Happy Birthday on are both from Going Places Designer Series Paper stack. The larger banner is Pear Pizzaz card stock. The banners were created using the Banner Triple punch. The happy birthday is from That Thing You Did and is stamped in Watermelon Wonder classic ink.

#ssinkcs19: Card Sketch
Last Friday was Employee Appreciation Day. This month's card sketch at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration allowed me to make the perfect thank you cards for my employees that were quick, easy, and perfect for college students!
I was able to tailor each card to its specific recipient. I had to chuckle when one girl opened hers and said, "It's pink!" Like she hasn't realized that I know she's obsessed with anything pink!
Each card is stamped with the a greeting from the Simply Wonderful stamp set, which you can still earn free during Sale-A-Bration! The ink color from each card is the same as the card stock color listed under each card! The layer is Whisper White on all cards. Enjoy!

July Card Sketch
The July card sketch at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration was inspired by Project Life.
Naturally, I grabbed my Project Life by Stampin' Up! card kits and started browsing for the perfect ones. I was actually looking for one that I could stamp on, or embellish with some stamps and punches. However, when I came across the two cards I used, they were perfect; and I was set.
I was going to dye some ribbon with Tempting Turquoise, but I almost fell asleep last night working on this card; so I left it on the table and headed to bed. When I got up this morning and looked at it, I decided that it didn't need the ribbon afterall. It did need a little embellishment at the top of the You + Me card though. I colored one of the wood hearts with the Medium Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities and flanked it with two Cherry Cobbler buttons from the Regals assortment.

Card Sketch Monday
Here is today's card sketch at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.
When I saw the sketch I was inspired to use ribbon for the banners. I used our fabulous new In Color ribbon, folded it in half, snipped on the diagonal, and there were my banners!
I used the Petite Petals, Papillion Potpourri, and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets. The colors featured are Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Pink Pirouette, and Bermuda Bay.
Remember, you can play along with us at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and share your own project inspired by our card sketch.

Birthday Card Sketch
It's Card Sketch Monday over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration! If you checked out my Color Challenge post last Monday, you know that last week was my mom's birthday. Today is my aunt's birthday, so I combined the Card Sketch and last week's color challenge to create a card for her today.
Her favorite color is purple, so I tried to make the Wisteria Wonder my primary color. I was going to add some of the Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape, but it just didn't look right, so I left it as is.
The Wisteria Wonder is a standard card base of 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4". The Gumball Green is 5-1/2" x 3-1/2". The Very Vanilla pieces are each 1-1/2" x 3".

Back With a Card Sketch
I'm back! Apologies for my hiatus. I recently started working full time again, after only working part time for the last five years. In addition to being physically exhausting to my lupus/fibro body; it's been mentally exhausting too as I'm learning new duties in my office. To say that I've pretty much let everything else go the last month would be an understatement. However, I'm happy to report that I'm adjusting and it felt great getting back to my stamp table today!
It's Card Sketch Monday at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration. My grandma-in-law has requested some more birthday cards, and I thought this was a great sketch for that purpose.
This is technically a hybrid card, as I've not purchased the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper out of the Occasions Catalog. If you remember from the February Blog Hop, I do have the digital download of it, however. I picked the design I wanted to use in My Digital Studio and created a "page" with it. Then I printed it out on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. Easy! I opted to color the flowers with Stampin' Write Markers, however I think the next time I make this card, I will use the Blender Pen for a softer effect. What do you think?
We'd love to have you stop over at SSINK to get INKspired by the other designers as well!

Card Sketch
Do you struggle with creating using a card sketch? Sometimes they are harder for me than starting with a blank canvas. Thankfully that was not the case this month! I was instantly inspired when I saw this month's sketch.
My order arrived last week with many fun new products that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. However, since I started working full time last week, I had to wait until the weekend to get inky!
I knew that the birthday greeting from Another Great Year would be perfect in the open space. Initially, I was going to use three of the small Starburst cut-outs in the upper right corner for the banner, but it just didn't look right. So I edited it a little bit.
I had so much fun with Pink Pirouette last week for our color challenge, that I wanted to use it again this week. I grabbed the Color Coach for inspiration for my other colors. It recommended Pool Party and Crumb Cake. Perfect! I used Crumb Cake to stamp the greeting on Pink Pirouette. The rest of the layers feature Tone-on-Tone stamping. (i.e.-Pool Party on Pool Party and Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake) The Celebrate banners across the top are "fussy" cut from one of the stamps from Starburst Sayings.
If today's sketch INKspires you to create, please link up with the post this week at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.
