#SSINKCC27: Color Challenge
Is anyone else starting to have anxiety about Blackberry Bliss retiring next year? I really hope it shows up as a part of one of the color families in the near future! Our color challenge today features it, as well as Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive.
Here is my first card of gratitude for November. It features the Work of Art stamp set, as well as the Watercolor Thank You. On my practice run, I stamped the swooshes perfectly, but on the actual project, no dice. Therefore, I grabbed my Stamp-a-majig so that they would be lined up and placed exactly where I wanted them!
Check out how the other DT members were inspired by this color challenge at SSINKspiration. While you're there, we'd love to have you play along with us!

#SSINKCC18 - Color Challenge
When I started creating color combinations for our monthly challenges, I wanted to make sure that we used all of Stampin' Up!'s colors before I started repeating any of them. These were the last three colors that I had left to use. I thought it was going to be weird, but when I started working with these colors, they actually complement each other really well!
Here is the card that I had a blast making!
I used a whole lot of emboss resist today! The background paper is the fabulous Irresistibly Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE during Sale-A-Bration! You get 12 sheets of DSP that is all white and then you can color it however you like. In this case I sponged it with Tangelo Twist ink. There are six different embossed designs with it.
I stamped the Watercolor Thank You stamp on Whisper White card stock with Versamark ink and then embossed it with the Clear Embossing Powder. Then I sponged over it with Coastal Cabana ink. I finished it off with two white Candy Dots from the Neutrals pack. Voila, there you have it. Quick, easy and colorful!
Please check out what the other designers did with this fun color combo. We'd also love to have you play along with our challenge if you're so INKspired.

Swap Cards Blog Hop
Last month our group decided to make cards for each other that would be swapped at Convention. A HUGE thank you to Kim who was nice enough to take my swaps with her and mail them back to me after convention! Of course, we can't keep all of the card love to ourselves; so we're sharing our cards with you today on our monthly blog hop!
This was actually the card that inspired my Blendabilities post, as I was amazed at how different the colors looked on the watercolor paper. This was also my first time using our watercolor paper (I know, I know; I can't believe it either.).
I love the Watercolor Thank You single stamp. It's a perfect size to use with the Deco Label Framelits. The framelits are great because you can create a perfect mat to layer under your greeting. Maybe it's the flowers, but every time I look at this card, the Baked Brown Sugar Thick Baker's Twine reminds me of ropes on a swing.
Are you curious what 42 Blendabilities colored flowers look like? (Well you get the idea.)
