Friday Favorites

Can you believe that we've already reached the end of July? That means we're getting closer to my favorite season, Fall! Speaking of favorites, the designers at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration are sharing their current favorite products today.

My favorite is the Watercolor Wash stamp. It is one of Stampin' Up!'s background stamps, which are meant to cover a good portion of a quarter sheet of card stock. I love that it provides a bold, solid canvas to work with that only requires a few finishing touches be added!

(Retiring) Friday Favorite

Every Friday this month at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, you will find the designers favorite retiring item.

I hate to admit that this my first time (that I can remember) using my favorite item. But it's so cute and fit in well with my theme. It's the Alphabet Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and since it's retiring, and on sale, you can purchase it for only $3.98!

Next week is finals week, so I purchased and personalized the Oh Snap Bins from 31 for our student workers. The office staff is going to fill them with survival week goodies; and I made cards for each of them to sign. I made sure they color combination of the cards matches at least a portion of the bin I got for them.

Friday Favorites

One of my favorite Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration posts each month is the Friday Favorites post. It's super easy because I can pick a card I made recently, decide what my favorite part is, and voila, I'm done!

Speaking of "voila, I'm done;" that's about how long it took me to make this card! I found a similar idea on PINterest. I edited it a bit to make it my own and to make sure it was easy for me to mail.

Starburst Sayings was one of those stamp sets that just didn't do much for me in the catalog. Then I kept seeing cute things made with it. I finally broke down and bought it and now it is definitely one of my top 3 favorites!

What's My Favorite?

It's Friday! It's Friday Favorites Friday!

I think my favorites 99% of the time are the framelits. There is so much you can do with them.

Our polaroid camera was one of my favorite things as I child. I loved getting to watch the picture "come to life." And of course, who didn't love shaking the picture? (because you know, it made it so much faster!) I also remember not being a fan of the 35mm cameras because I hated having to wait to see the pictures we took!

So of course, when I started seeing all of these polaroid cards popping up all over the place, I couldn't wait to make some! I finally got the square framelits last week, so I'm all set!
