Quick & Easy

Today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration we are focusing on quick and easy cards because sometimes you don't have a lot of time to sit down and plan and make your card.

I love Project Life cards for making quick and easy cards. The PL card and stamp both came from the Hello Lovely card collection and accessory pack.

Thanks for stopping in for the quick and easy INKspiration. Remember to stop over at SSINK for more quick and easy ideas.

Make It Quick!

Earlier this month a family friend had a major surgery that left her in lots of pain. Her daughter put out a request for well wishes, and I wanted to get a card made quick so I could get it in the mail asap. In steps a quick and easy card!

I knew that I wanted to use the greetings from Here For You, but I didn't feel that flowers and butterflies were the appropriate background for the sayings I wanted to use. A "sun" from Kinda Eclectic was just the ticket to add what I needed to this card! The color inspiration came from the Moroccan Designer Washi Tape.

My favorite part of this card is the inside because knowing her family as I do, I'm sure they'll get a giggle out of it just as I did!

Make It Quick

I made today's quick and easy card so quickly that I forgot to emboss the stars on the Perfect Plum piece like I had intended! However, you would have never known if I hadn't shared that secret with you.

One fabulous thing about the Star Framlits is that you can create star "outlines" by cutting with one size, and then running it through the Big Shot again with a smaller size centered on the piece you just cut.

The Hooray stamp can be found in the Project Life Remember This set. I fed each side of the cardstock through the Mosaic Punch to create a different type of label punch element.

Short On Time?

How about a quick and easy card? Remember the Love Story Project Life pack I featured last week for my Friday Favorite? Well I used it again today to make a super quick and very easy card. I'm not kidding, this card took me less than 5 minutes to make and most of that was cutting the cardstock and deciding which heart to use. In fact, it took me longer to write this post than it did to make the card!

Real Red card base, Smoky Slate layer. One of my favorite cards from the Love Story pack. Glued those layers all together. Stamped the heart from Peace, Love, & Cupcakes in Real Red on the card. Slapped on some washi tape from the Beach House set. Done. How easy was that? Plus, how cute is this card?

As always, you can find more Quick & Easy inspiration today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration!

Q&E

It's time for Q&E! That would be Quick & Easy.

There's nothing quicker than slapping some washi tape on a piece of cardstock! In fact, the thing that took the most time was stamping the flowers. However, thanks to the stamp-a-majig, it was easy to get them lined up.

Another Thank You photopolymer is getting a workout from me this week! My Petite Petals stamp set arrived last week, so I knew I wanted to get some ink on it. The coordinating punch has been so popular that it's on backorder, but I'm hoping to have it in a couple weeks so I can play with this set some more. I've got some fun ideas brewing; I'm just waiting for the punch because I don't really want to fussy cut these flowers. ;)

Limited Edition alert: The pink washi tape is from the Gingham Garden set. It is on the retirement list and only available while supplies last. You can purchase it before it's gone by clicking the image below.

Birthday for the Boss

I work in a wonderful office with a great group of people. We love to have fun and razz each other. The boss has a birthday next week, so I thought the Bombs Away Birthday set that I just got in would be perfect for her. She's also a fan of bright colors.

Do you think she'll like it?

Here's the inside with the fun birthday bomb and enough room for the whole office to sign.

Bye-Bye to Sale-A-Bration

Today is the last day that you can earn any of the 2014 Sale-a-bration items for free. You can click on the product images below to go to my online store, so you don't miss out on yours! I'm sad to see them go; but so glad that I got the One Big Sale-A-Bration 2014 Digital Ensemble as one of my free items. Now I've got all of the images to use forever on my projects in My Digital Studio!

I needed to create a Quick & Easy card for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration. It doesn't get any quicker or easier than My Digital Studio!

I used Soft Sky for my background. White Baker's Twine and Soft Suede brads adorn the banners from Banner Blast. The elements at the bottom are all from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack.

With just a few minutes on the computer, I now have a great card front I can print out; or a digital card that I could email to someone, or post on their Facebook wall to let them know I'm thinking about them.

12 Cards of Christmas- Day 12

Well now that a majority of the Christmas celebrating is over, it may be time to be done with Christmas cards. At least for the next six months or so! However, I got some fabulous gifts from my families that I need to send thank yous for. Here is the thank you I made to send out this year.

This card features the emboss resist technique. I embossed the Thank You on white cardstock with clear embossing powder; then sponged on the real red ink. The embossed portion will resist the ink, leaving your cardstock color showing.

I hope you have enjoyed the series. Please let me know which card was your favorite and what inspired you the most! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas full of love and light.

Supplies used:
  Cardstock: Whisper White, Coastal Cabana
Stamp Set: Another Thank You (photopolymer)
  Ink: Versamark, Real Red
Accessories: Clear embossing powder, Sponge Dauber, Northern Flurries Embossing Folder, Deco     Labels framelits
  Tools: Big Shot, Heat Tool
