Today is Masculine Monday at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration. At a loss for what kind of masculine card I was going to make, I found inspiration in a Deconstructed Sketch layout. Once I had the layout, everything else fell in to place.
After a fun discussion with a fellow SSINK design team member regarding Mossy Meadow, I thought it was the perfect color to use for a manly card. I used two techniques I haven't used in forever; the first being good ole paper tearing with just your hands. (Working with your hands is manly, right?) The second was heat embossing. That has been my favorite technique of all times, and it's probably been six months since I've pulled out my heat tool. Crazy!

Here is the Deconstructed Sketch No. 155 that inspired me:
I wish that I had a better way to store my framelits, big s dies and embossing folders. I keep my embossing folders in a 31 small cube style bag and it takes me forever to find the one that I want to use on my projects.
ReplyDeleteI keep my framelits and embossing folders in the 31 Little Carry-All bag. The framelits are alphabetical, so they are easy to find and pull out, but it does take me a little longer to thumb through my embossing folders.
