OWH World Card Making Day Hop


Paper crafters unite! It's World Card Making Day! I'm excited to join Operation Write Home's bloghop today. I'm also excited to be making holiday cards with a great group of ladies (& a few gents) this afternoon.

Today's theme for the hop is Thank You cards. We also were to choose one of OWH's card sketches. Here is the sketch I chose:

Supplies used (all Stampin' Up!):
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Eastern Elegance
Stamp sets: Another Thank You (photopolymer), Simply Sketched
Ink: Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana
Accessories: Paper Trimmer, Simply Scored, 1" Square Punch, Stampin' Scrub, Stampin' Mist



I am hosting a Holiday Card Buffet this afternoon and will have a station set up for all attendees, and any community members who stop in, to make an additional card to donate to Operation Write Home. This is the first time that I've donated to OWH, and I'm very excited because I think they are a great organization.

    Love the colorway of your card. I'm not sure how many I'll make today but I know that when I do, they will be Love cards.

    So glad you will be donating to OWH! Your card is beautiful-- love the sunny yellow! Have fun at your cad buffet! I have made 6 Christmas cards this am- I bog hopped for a while, made cards, and am hopping again for a bit! I hope to make 20 cards today!

      Thanks, Diane! I thought it could be used to brighten someone's day. I only made 14 cards today; which was short of my goal, but I also taught the girls at the buffet many new techniques today; so it was a win!

    I love the Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana together, what a great choice! Have fun at your buffet today; it sounds like fun. I haven't made any cards yet, but it's only 8:30 am here at the moment. I'm hoping to make at least a dozen winter cards today.

    Great card! I love the simplicity and the colors. How many cards am I making today? I'm finishing 29 cards....I got my October cards done and need to finish my 150 Christmas cards (half done)......

    Very pretty CAS card! What a great idea the Holiday Card Buffett sounds like.I'm not crafting today but I am proud to say that since I began donating in 2008 I've made over 12,000 cards for OWH. Thanks for joining in the hop today!
