Stampin' Up! Did You Know?

You may have noticed that silver banner that's been at the top of my page since January. You may have also seen it in every newsletter that I've sent in 2013. You may have noticed that Stampin' Up! has been releasing some special stamp sets and have been having some spectacular sales and recruiting specials. Did you know that Stampin' Up! turned 25 this year?

Stampin' Up! was founded in Utah in 1988 by Shelli Gardner and her sister. They had fallen in love with rubber stamping and looked for a company with a quality line of stamps and a solid direct sales approach. When they couldn't find a company that met their expectations, they started their own! In those early days, Shelli filled orders for stamps from her living room.

Today, Stampin' Up! Headquarters is housed in a 300,000 square foot location in Riverton, Utah. Stampin' Up! has offices in 9 countries, and over 40,000 demonstrators. Can you imagine that? Over 40,000 people that have had the opportunity to start their own business and work from home in whatever means is best for them.

Did you know that in 1992 Stampin' Up! began custom designing, manufacturing, and selling their own exclusive rubber stamps? This manufacturing is performed in an 80,000 square foot facility in Kanab, Utah.

Stay tuned next week for information about Stampin' Up! Statement of the Heart and how they've made a difference over the years.
